The Center's annual dinner is one of the largest in Washington. Well over 1,000 people attend, including policy makers and leaders from the women's, civil rights, corporate and legal communities. The event raises over $1 million in vital funds essential to support the Center's work to protect and advance the progress of women and girls in school, at work, and in virtually every aspect of their lives. The Center works on issues important to women and their families - health, employment, education, and economic security - giving special priority to the needs of low-income women and their families.
