The National Women's Law Center has joined an unprecedented national effort on health reform. Health Care for America Now (HCAN) — a national grassroots campaign organizing millions of Americans to win a guarantee of quality, affordable health care for all. HCAN is working toward a bold solution that gives women, and all people, real choice and a guarantee of quality coverage they can afford: keeping their current private insurance plan, picking a new private insurance plan, or joining a public health insurance plan.
As a member of the campaign's steering committee, the National Women's Law Center is ensuring that women's voices are a part of this exciting national movement. With our health care reform initiative, Reform Matters, the Center is working to ensure that the debate over health care reform addresses the issues that matter to women. And together, we're building a movement for health care reform with the power to win health care for everyone in America.
